Susie’s Local Suggestions

Welcome to my personal reviews of local businesses!

Last year (2017) I dined at Pavesi in Downtown Morristown. It’s a multilevel, BYOB restaurant with available outdoor seating during the warmer months. I can’t remember what exactly I ordered, BUT I do remember it being delicious. On Friday and Saturday nights you can enjoy a wonderful live performance (singer has an amazing voice) whilst you eat your dinner. I recommend for families or couples.

On February 5, 2018, I went to Summit House [Seasonal American Restaurant & Bar] for dinner and drinks with my family. It’s located on Springfield Avenue in Summit, NJ. This place is absolutely amazing. Summit House has a lively, modern, and friendly bar scene that reminds me of New York bars. We had so much fun that we were the last to leave yet never felt rushed. The restaurant section has a great atmosphere, impressive service, and exquisite food. I ordered the Aumache Pasta dish which was outstanding. The food is not only delicious but is creatively presented and categorized as New American cuisine. What’s most exciting about Summit House is they change the menu every 2-3 weeks to keep it fresh for returning clients. What a great way to keep us coming back for more!
